About this event
During the height of the Vietnam War a captain is sent on a dangerous mission to eliminate a mysterious Colonel Kurtz. Released in 2001, Francis Ford Coppola's extended version adds 49 minutes of previously unreleased footage to the original 1979 theatrical cut. The most notable additions to this cut are the French plantation sequence and an extended interlude with the Playboy playmates.
