Solo exhibition by Belgian painter Gauthier Hubert (b. 1967, Brussels). Winner of the 'Prix de la jeune peinture belge' (1999), Hubert's oil paintings and watercolors combine meticulous, timeless technique with contemporary sensibility. His work pairs vibrant color with unsettling, disturbing forms in a satirical dialogue with art history. His works are held in the collections of the National Gallery of Iceland, Musée d'Ixelles, and the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles.
