'There is a field ... I'll meet you there!' brings together three contemporary painters at EDJI Gallery: Kris Knight, Alireza Shojaian, and Syed Hussain. Kris Knight is a Canadian painter whose work revolves around representation, queerness, and intimacy. Alireza Shojaian is a painter and visual activist whose work challenges societal norms and creates space for non-heteronormative masculine identities. EDJI Gallery, founded in 2022 and located in Ixelles, is committed to promoting emerging ultra-contemporary artists including women, BIPOC, and LGBTQI+ communities, founded by Franco-Belgian collectors educated at the Sotheby's Institute of Art.
