*Nostalgia for the Wing* is the story of a man who would have preferred not to exist. Burdened with a body that holds little reality for him, he seems to exist alongside his physical form. A moving journey into memory and family ties, woven through words, sounds, and images. A moment of suspended poetry carried by the author’s voice. ★★★★★ *La nostalgie de l’aile* was a finalist for the Royal Academy’s Grand Prix du Roman. ★★★★★ Rarely has the intimate been confided with such finesse, without giving away any of the melancholy of a drifting existence, laid upon an empty cradle … — Le Vif, Caroline Lamarche, November 25, 2021.
