For many African men and men of African descent, the barbershop is a meeting point where taboos dissolve and topics like migration, education, religion and politics are freely debated. Barber Shop Chronicles invites the audience to step inside six barbershops in six different cities, all on the day of the Champions League final, with dialogue in French, Wolof, Bambara, Baoulé, Dioula and more.
