BRONKS is a theatre for young audiences located in the heart of Brussels. Famous throughout the country and abroad for its work and high-quality performances, BRONKS is a renowned player in the performing arts world. With its unique glass façade, the building was designed by MDMA architects. In 2011, the building won a place in the final of the prestigious Mies van der Rohe European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture, and in 2012 it was nominated for the World Architecture Festival Singapore in the 'Culture' category. A tight design that nevertheless leaves room for playful elements, such as rotating mirror walls, an extraordinary framework, and rooms that connect to each other and to the outside. Thanks to the use of glass, the entire space is bathed in daylight. BRONKS is located right in the city center on the Place du Marché aux Porcs, close to Place Sainte-Catherine, Rue de Flandre, and Rue Dansaert. It's a lively, original area, loved by artists and brimming with bars, restaurants, and original, creative shops. Within walking distance of the Central Station, BRONKS is close to various underground stations and parking spaces. The BRONKS building makes the most of the available space with its multi-purpose rooms.
