Through the Instagram Graph API, we read public content from Instagram professional accounts: posts and comments that mention or tag Scene Seeker, and the public profile and recent posts of the venues and organizers whose events we list.
If you verify an organizer claim with Instagram, Instagram tells us your professional account's ID and username. We keep them as proof of the claim and keep no access to your account.
If you connect your Instagram professional account, we keep an access token, encrypted, so we can read your profile and, only if you turn on post import, your new posts to prepare event drafts for you. We renew the token while you stay connected. We never post, comment or send messages from your account.
If you send a direct message to our Instagram account, we keep the message and any image in it so we can answer you and, when it announces an event, list it. When we list an event you tagged or mentioned us in, we may reply on Instagram with a link to the listing. Instagram lets only the post's owner delete that reply.
We use this data only to list and promote public cultural events. We do not sell it or use it for advertising, and we keep it only while the related connection, listing or profile is live.
Email info@sceneseeker.brussels with the Instagram account or listing concerned. We delete the data within one month and confirm by reply. Disconnecting Instagram in your organizer dashboard, or removing Scene Seeker under Apps and websites in your Instagram settings, deletes the connection and its token straight away. A deletion request sent through Instagram gives you a confirmation code and a page showing its status.
Service providers for hosting, storage, email, error monitoring and analytics process data on our behalf. Some may transfer data outside the EU under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses. We keep data only as long as the service, security and the law require.
You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, port or object to the processing of your data at info@sceneseeker.brussels. You can also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
