About this event
A Portuguese choreographer active in transmission and creation with urban dances, Piny has created a conference-installation opening up as a hybrid space blending dance, video archives and personal stories. In it the artist conceives of the body as an intersection in motion, a meeting place of diverse activities, cultures and identities, set in an interwoven political structure and evolving interdependently with it. Examining what is created in the recesses and cavities of a living organism, as in an urban street, Piny leads us through a choreographic reflection in bodily form, moved by issues of transformation, both intimate and collective, to consider our present and our futures.
