October kicks off in serious style at BLUR. In the SUB, we dive deep into minimal and hypnotic techno with a live set from Swedish producer DORISBURG. The solo project of Alexander Berg, also known as one half of Genius of Time, Dorisburg has developed a uniquely immersive sound over the years, moving effortlessly between deep house, minimal and techno. A long-standing figure on the cult Swedish label Aniara Recordings, his music has also appeared on Hivern Discs and Donato Dozzy's Spazio Disponibile and recently on Nous'Klaer, establishing him as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary Scandinavian electronic music. Opening the room is SARAH WANITA, returning to BLUR for the second time. We’re huge fans of her refined selection, technique, storytelling and overall vibe, and she feels like the perfect artist to slowly set things in motion before Dorisburg takes over live. Closing the SUB is our very own resident NIKITA, taking us all the way until 7AM with his intoxicating, spellbinding selections. Meanwhile, in the STUDIO, this one feels pretty special. We’re incredibly proud to welcome New Zealand brothers CHAOS IN THE CBD. Originally from Auckland and based in London for more than a decade, Ben and Louis Helliker-Hales have become two of the most celebrated figures in contemporary house music, building a sound deeply rooted in house while weaving in jazz, soul and the unmistakable warmth that has defined their music from the beginning. As part of their worldwide tour, they’ve chosen BLUR for their Brussels stop, and we honestly can’t wait to hear them on the Studio’s exceptional sound system. Setting the tone before them will be our beloved resident POPPY, getting everything exactly where it needs to be before the two brothers take control.
