Born in Flames

Ten years after the socialist revolution in the USA, the structures of patriarchal society are still in place. A diverse range of women's groups, despite their differences (in race, class and sexuality) take up the struggle. They mobilise and establish a dynamic, varied and non-hierarchical network to resist police assaults. The movement keeps growing despite some internal tension, and takes direct action to topple the current system. This cult film is a must-see for any activist and feminist!
