This is the second event of a 2-part series that takes you from reading and listening to poetry, to illustrating and drawing based on the poems that have resonated with you —————— 27 September - 16:00 to 18:00 Entrance: 10€ (but let us know if cost is a barrier - we can find a way!) All materials provided. —————— You can attend Part 1 , or Part 2, or both :) Part 2: Drawing Poetry in the Garden On Sunday 27 September, we will let the echo of the voices and emotions heard at the open mic on 17 September (see Part 1) inspire us to draw, sketch, scribble or paint. In short, we will be drawing poetry! Mathilde from Que Ca Studiowill guide you through watercolours techniques, while Caroline from SCRAPS will show you how to turn single words and sentences into fully illustrated pages. The end-result will be collected in a special edition zine, combining our poems and illustrations! ❤️ Although we recommend attending the open mic on 17 September to already be immersed in poetry, don't worry if you can only come on the 27 September, as there will be printed copies of poems for you to draw inspiration from. Whether you want to listen to modern poetry, share your own writing or explore your illustration skills, come and join us !!
