Drum & Beer x Næbula: Nætwork & Party | Varied Drum & Bass

What is Nætwork ? A networking event to bring the Belgian drum & bass community together. Networking connects and helps everybody to get to know each other, develop relations and collaborations. We'll provide a stage for performances, guest speakers, and a friendly and open atmosphere. We’ll take care of everything, you just need to come ! Everyone who feels part of this scene, artists, promoters, organizers, agents, volunteers and fans of drum & bass, are welcome. DJs, MCs, live performers and dancers can sign up to showcase their talents. All DnB styles are welcome to play at Nætwork and will be represented during the afterparty. The performances will be recorded (audio & video), shared with the artists and later on published on digital channels. And it'll be the first time we invite guest speakers to enrich us with their experience, insights and perhaps some nightlife anecdotes. Sign up if you're coming to Nætwork, so we can better prepare your visit. Everybody who signs up and arrives before 19.00 gets a surprise on arrival ; come to the organizers desk on the side of the stage, state your name, and if you’ve signed up, we’ll give you one. Party The networking event will be followed by a party showcasing both Drum & Beer’s and Næbula’s talents behind the decks. The main organizers of each concept ; Cellarman and Charly T., will go B2B for the first time. James Marvel will be headlining with MC Mush on the mic, Whyam’me, Initial & Seka will represent Drum & Beer, and No Label, Sona & Cullen will represent Næbula. You can expect all DnB subgenres during the night. From older to newer tracks, from secret dubs to well-known classics, everything is possible. Location The event takes place at the bar of the Continental building, a medium-sized bar with a decent sound system, a friendly atmosphere, and no backstage area. It’s located right in the heart of Brussels, in a vibrant and cosy neighbourhood. It’s the perfect place to make new friends, chat with experienced artists and organizers, and share your love for our favorite music. Continental is a creative cultural hub in Brussels. While the bar on the ground floor is reserved for the party, the rest of the building is packed with spots to explore. The first three floors are for local artists and crafts wo-men selling original creations, plus vintage shops packed with secondhand clothes, glasses, and toys. Floor four hosts a beauty corner and tattoo artists so you can get inked while you go for a manicure. On the sixth floor are coworking spaces. We love Continental because they bring that alternative vibe that matches the DnB scene perfectly. They are deeply engaged with the local arts and crafts community, and their core values are close to ours: Quality, Respect, Tolerance, Sharing, Fun, Transparency, and Integrity. The bar menu is also top-tier. They stock independent local soft drinks from craft producers like L’annexe, Cuarenta, and Fritz. Best of all? They are hooking us up by adding two exclusive beers from small local craft breweries to their menu just for us. Accessibility Bus 71, 88 and 89, as well as many night busses, stop at De Brouckère station, which is 1 minute walking from the venue. Tram 4 and 10 stop at De Brouckère station, which is 1 minute walking from the venue. Metro 1 and 5 stop at De Brouckère station, which is 1 minute walking from the venue. Brussels Central Station and North station are only 15 minutes walking from the venue, Midi station is 35 minutes walking. There are many bike stalls near the venue to securely attach your bike to. With a good quality bike lock you should be fine. If you come with an electric bike it’s always a good idea to take your battery with you and bring it into the bar. We can put it on the side of the stage in a safe spot if you ask us kindly. There are several paying parkings close to Continental where you can easily park your car. The closest is Parking Alhambra but several others are very close by. Parking on the street is possible if you’re not afraid to drive around a bit to find a spot, and if you arrive after 21.00 parking on the street is free. If you come from outside Brussels, you can park your car in a P+R parking on the outside of the city, some are even outside of the LEZ (Low Emission Zone), so you don’t get a fine if your car is not allowed inside it, and you will be able to take public transport from the parking to the party. We’ve indicated the closest stops, but as we’re ideally located in Brussels’ center, it is very easy to reach from wherever you are, by train, public transport, bike or car. Many other buses and trams stop less than 15 minutes walking from the venue.
