This storytelling performance takes us on a journey to Rwanda, discovering this remarkable country through the daily life of a young Frenchman who works with children living on the streets. We share profound, humorous and sometimes serious moments inspired by real events. The storyteller's voice blends with ambient sounds and songs recorded directly in Kigali, Rwanda's capital. Throughout the performance, a host of colourful characters bring the story to life: a young rap enthusiast who learned English by watching Bollywood films; an educator who survived the genocide and remains full of plans and hope; a proverb-loving night watchman who is never without his shirt and matador-style moustache; and a young orphan girl who now flies a drone...
