When acro dance and the visual arts come together, they give rise to this mobile, hairy creature, slowly transforming into a half-woman, half-beast chimera—disturbing and surreal. A poetic, strange world blending humour and sensitivity. In a strange and surreal world, two women confront their inner beast, the one they have learnt to silence but which still weighs heavily on them. Between explosion and rebirth, they traverse an intimate path of acceptance and rebellion. An acrobatic and visual performance constructed like the journey of a thought that moves forward, retreats, shares itself and transforms. Driven by a shared passion for acro-dance and the visual arts, Morgane Maret and Martina Calvo powerfully challenge the representations and stereotypes associated with women in society.
