Who said you can’t be both ghetto and cute? Lesley didn’t listen. A native of Namur with Rwandan roots, she raps just as well as she sings—and she doesn’t hesitate to show it. Outraged by society’s view of women, she finds in rap a way to express her uniqueness with raw honesty—without losing the sensitivity that defines her. Raised on Corneille, she also knows how to share her sorrows with tenderness. Ghetto and cute—both at the same time—without apologizing. After winning Le 5 Expérience against Bakari, Geeeko, and Fuego, performing at a string of venues (Bluebird, BXL Resist, opening for Loveni), and delivering the most memorable performance of Belgian Music Week with nearly 500,000 views, Lesley is set to release her first EP. “Ghetto & Cute”—six tracks influenced by trap, dance, and pop—will be released on May 29, 2026.
