Mathieu Najean Quartet

EN : Mathieu Najean has built a solid reputation as a swinger and a digger of little gems hidden in the recordings of the first half of the 20th century, all while developing a delicious tenor sound, firmly rooted in a tradition he knows like the back of his hand. A regular at the club and artistic director of the house band "Brussels Swing Machine", it's always a treat to see him on our stage. With his quartet, he surrounds himself with musicians who share his taste and talent for a no-nonsense jazz, recalling without nostalgia all the modernity of swing and be-bop — music that makes you smile and tap your feet, in the pure tradition of our swing Thursdays!
