mountaincutters is a Brussels-based artist duo (born 1990) creating site-specific installations and sculptures. Graduated from ESADMM Marseille in 2014, they investigate human-environment connections through hybrid concepts situated between geology, landscape, and gesture. Their materials—steel, ceramic, glass, found objects, debris, and textiles—coagulate imperfect shapes and organic prostheses that form temporary ecosystems channeling energy between the human, organic, and inanimate. Their work references Arte Povera, Joseph Beuys, and Ana Mendieta.
