In this walkshop, walking artist Alisa Oleva invites participants to walk together, paying attention to the soundscape of the city as darkness descends. Meeting at Q-O2, the group starts the walk at 16:56, the exact time of sunset, walking and listening as the lamp posts switch on and the ears adjust to night listening. Along the way, Oleva offers various walking and listening scores - moments of writing, drawing, map making and movement to explore how walking differently changes how we listen. Alisa Oleva is a walking artist based in London whose practice includes wheelchairs, sticks and other mobility aids; those with specific access needs can get in touch in advance.
