Saul Steinberg: The Americans: Part III

The Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium present The Road – South and West and Farmers – Middle West, two panels from The Americans, Saul Steinberg's monumental work created for the 1958 Brussels World's Fair. Created on site for the American Pavilion, this work of more than 70 metres is a vast collage inspired by the "American way of life". With these final two panels, the museums bring this exhibition cycle to its conclusion.
