On Saturday 27 February 2027, Wheelies and RoSa are co-organising a book club on 'Care Work: Dreaming Disability Justice' by Leah Lakshmi Piepzna-Samarasinha. The discussion will be co-hosted by Bethan Burnside (Wheelies) and Myriam Halimi (RoSa). In Care Work, Piepzna-Samarasinha explores the principles of disability justice. Rather than centring normative ideas about bodies and ability, the book recognises every body as unique and essential, with both strengths and needs that deserve recognition and support. The motto "Nothing about us without us" runs throughout. Join in person at Wheelies (Cité des associations, Saint-Gilles) or online. Hosted in English. Free, but registration is required.
