On Saturday 20 September, we’ll be kicking off the new cultural season during Car-Free Sunday. From 2 pm to 10 pm, we’ll be turning the VK into an open meeting place filled with music, games, workshops, snacks and drinks. Come and jam with ‘Welcome to my living room’, the kick-off for our new bimonthly jam sessions. Try a taster boxing session with the youngsters from Idrissi Boxing Club, learn macramé knots with Mercedes, or join the theatre workshop run by Nazra vz Concerts line-up: 8pm-8.45pm — Floris Francis Arthur, the solo project of Floris De Decker (Intergalactic Lovers, The Van Jets, Team William), brings melancholic indie folk filled with Americana and cinematic intensity. Think: Gorki meets Alex G. 9pm-9.45pm — Baertman, the duo of Pieter Baert and Jan Heirman, moves between jazz, electronics and urban grooves. For fans of STUFF., The Bad Plus and SCHNTZL.
