Une tentative presque comme une autre

Clément and Guillaume Papachristou are twins. Dressed identically, they appear on a bare stage. The two twin bodies, one able-bodied, the other with cerebral palsy, begin a dance of embraces and separations. They embrace, cling to each other, and tussle. From a starting point of their intimate history and striking physical resemblance they explore the notions of the double, similarity and difference, and otherness. In a shared experience both sensitive and humorous, they explore their feelings, their doubts, their individual realities and shared constraints. Between the physical resemblance of twinship and the physical difference caused by disability, the show highlights the search for an unexpected mutual support that is constantly (re)discovered. An intimate and deeply moving piece. Five solidarity tickets at €5 will be set aside for each performance of performing arts projects (with some exceptions). Offering a caring, peaceful and relaxed atmosphere based on acceptance of everyone, the show itself remains the same. The performance guidelines are simply relaxed slightly so that everyone can experience it in their own way (sound and light effects have been toned down slightly).
