This edition explores themes of confinement, routine, and the desire for escape through a poetic and absurd VR narrative. The Great Escape by Joren Vandenbroucke places you inside a quiet living room as the third of three geraniums sitting on a windowsill. While the plants long to see the world but remain rooted in place, Patrick-the apartment owner-moves freely through his daily rituals yet never leaves his home, trapped in repetition and isolation. The work reflects boredom, freedom, and the strange boundaries between movement and stasis. VR Film Screening is designed to be welcoming and accessible.
