Their paths diverged, only to cross again years later, united by a shared memory: Wayne Shorter had always been there. To this rekindled friendship is added that of a double bassist who passed away far too soon, whose daughter ‘Natasha’ is already composing in tribute to the American master — as if the score had been waiting for them. From this reunion emerged a five-part quintet, where old friendships and new generations resonate with one another. Far from being a mere tribute repertoire, it is an invitation to journey, to take risks, to embrace poetry — and above all, to celebrate humanity.
