WiseNight 2026: discover science at the Atomium On Friday 25 and Saturday 26 September 2026, the Atomium will become a lively meeting place for science, research and curiosity. During WiseNight 2026, visitors of all ages can meet researchers and discover their work in an accessible and interactive way. WiseNight aims to show that science is about much more than numbers, formulas and laboratories. Research is also driven by wonder, creativity, passion and teamwork. Through workshops, experiments, film screenings, conversations with researchers, debates and an inspiring photo exhibition, visitors can discover what it is like to be a researcher. Children and young people can take part, ask questions and explore their own scientific talents. Families, adults and anyone with an insatiable curiosity are warmly invited. On Friday 25 September, a special school programme will be organised for pupils from Brussels. Saturday 26 September will be dedicated to the general public, with activities for all ages. Participation in WiseNight is completely free. Registered visitors will also receive free admission to the Atomium during the festival. This makes it possible to combine a day full of science with a visit to one of Brussels’ most iconic landmarks.
