Youri Botterman

Youri Botterman is a Brussels-based multi-instrumentalist artist and composer who divides his time between live performance and music production. He has collaborated with Damso as a producer and featured artist on his acclaimed album *Ipséité*, certified double diamond. He also contributed as a composer to Lous & The Yakuza’s album *Gore*, which brought her to wider public attention. As a guitarist, he has toured with Aya Nakamura on her Zénith tour and performed at major French-speaking festivals. Originally from the Great Lakes region of Africa, Youri moves between Africa, Europe and the Indian Ocean, shaping a distinctive musical identity along the way. Blending urban, electronic and tropical sounds, his music draws on Afrobeat, reggae, soul, funk and Congolese rumba. This rich crossroads of musical influences lies at the heart of his signature sound. With his vibrant presence and spontaneity, Youri delivers celebratory performances that naturally draw audiences into a shared sense of joy and connection. The concert is preceded by a screening of the documentary Soundtrack to a Coup d’État (combined ticket at the entrance).
