The pyschedelic electro-punk band Dendermonde (Maarten Van Cauwenberghe, Elko Blijweert, Frederik Heuvinck en Bjorn Eriksson) delivers a unique blend of rock and experimental sounds: sleek, repetitive, and loud. In 2021, they created the music for Into The Open, a rock concert fused with contemporary dance. For An Evening With Voetvolk, they will perform new material from their album, to be released in February 2027. Part of An Evening with VoetvolkVoetvolk celebrates twenty years of artistic expression and adventure. In 2027, the dance company marks its twentieth anniversary. Over that time, they have created 15 performances and toured more than 100 cities across some 35 countries. Voetvolk invites you to celebrate the journey they have undertaken – filled with joy and beauty, stress and doubt. On this extraordinary evening, we celebrate movement, music and the indomitable spirit that has driven Voetvolk for two decades.
