Ibon Landa Amutxategi (b. 1994, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain) is an artist who completed a residency at WIELS Contemporary Art Center in Brussels (July-December 2023). His practice focuses on materiality and spatial presence, bringing materials closer to vibrant endings and exploring the weight of the image in space through materiality. His work has been exhibited at Artium Museum, BilbaoArte Foundation, and Tabakalera. AFFILIATE is a space where alumni of the international WIELS Residency Programme present their work, alongside other formats and events engaging with the city.
