Third solo exhibition at Rossicontemporary for Ghent-based artist Johan De Wit, presenting two emblematic bodies of work: the Cupboards - dressers filled with hundreds of bottles, pots and vessels forming a dense three-dimensional calligraphy - and his "canvases", folded and curled painted surfaces. De Wit formulates his own pigments from natural earths, ochres and ground minerals, shaping sculptures from a lightweight paper armature infused with acrylic resin, marble powder and iron powder.
