Girlfriends

Having grown up in Macau and pursued her higher education in Taiwan, Lok now lives in Hong Kong, where she awaits the chance to make her second film. While her partner, Bei Bei, looks for stability, Lok is torn and embarks on a quest to trace back through time and understand how past encounters shape the present moment. Through a reverse-chronological narrative that blurs boundaries, this autobiographically inspired queer romance weaves intense connections between memory and desire, amidst the silence of the cities that inhabit us.
